3 bedroom house move
Nitin and the team were fantastic, great communication throughout including sorting the ferry crossing quickly which helped us with our planning. Very efficient with the travel time from Wellington to Wanaka. Loading and unloading included stairs in both properties which they handled extremely well. We had 40 cubic metres to shift which they placed carefully including very large pot plants. Thoroughly recommend them.

1 bedroom apartment move
Great experience overall. Communication was clear and fast from start to finish, and even though the pickup time shifted a couple of times, the reasons were well explained and it didn't cause any issues. The team was respectful and easy to deal with, and they handled our belongings carefully, everything arrived without any damage. My wife and I helped a bit with loading and unloading just to speed things up, but they managed the bulk of the work efficiently. All good, and Id happily hire them again.

1 bedroom apartment move
Ihad a great experience with Rapid Transport Services, and in particular with Nitin, who managed my move from Auckland to Welington.
From the start, Nitin was organised and reliable, coordinating the entire process and bringing in a team to assist with the move. Everyone he arranged was professional, efficient, and easy to work with, which made a big difference on what could have been a stressful day.
Nitin handled both the loading and unloading, and what really stood out was how well he
moved carefully and without damage, which I really appreciated.
He took great care with my belongings, ensuring everything was properly protected and securely packed. Throughout the move, he remained calm, communicative, and focused on getting everything done smoothly.
Overall, the whole experience felt very well organised and seamless. I would highly recommend

Storage move
Nitin was excellent in setting up the collection and delivery and responded to my messages really promptly, even after hours and on a public holiday. I needed a storage locker emptied ASAP.
The team packed the truck perfectly to fit everything in, it was a full load. The truck left Wellington on Monday night and everything arrived and was unloaded Tuesday afternoon in Christchurch.
Thank youl Great job.

3 bedroom house move
These guys did a great job on an interisland move between Christchurch and Tokoroa - we ended up having more items than expected but they were lovely and made the effort to accommodate all of our items and made the process as low stress as possible, which we realy appreciated. Great communication and packing around fragile items, very pleased with the overallcare of goods, even non-fragiles were blanketed and well taken care of. The house we moved to had a narrow
above and beyond to bring those items inside and were very respectful of the space -laying down
were slightly later than expected, albeit partially due to weather conditions and poor road conditions, but that wasn't a big problem for us as we arranged for pickup the day before we had to move so had more time and would recommend you build in extra time just in case if you have a more time sensitive move. Overall very very happy with the price and quality of service, and would definitely recommend and use Rapid Transport Services again in the future.

Received a call the day prior that they'd showup at 8 am.They were 2 hours late and we had to reach out tothem tosee where they were. One of themwas sitting in his car outside ourhouse. for2 hours. They moved everything out within 40 minutes and thenimmediately asked about: payment beforedelivering to new location.Oncearriving at the second location.theyinformed me they would charge more because of thescaffolding.on thebuilding -which Ihad informed them about theday prior.Ibrought up the little stuffinto theapartment and asked themitoonlytake thebedupstairs.Oncethe movers had left I noticed thata drawer on my desk was COMPLETELY BROKEN.The younger guy was amazing He did most of the heavy lifting and was more careful about our belongings. He alsofigured out a way to get the bed upstairs when his counterpart said, it wouldn'tfit.Iflcould go back,I'd give the extramoneythey askedfordirectly totheyoungerguy.

Flatshare move
Ihad a great experience overall with Rapid Transport Services. Despite only booking a van and driver, the driver offered to help me load and unload without charging extra. The only negatives! would mention are that the van arrived 40 minutes earlier than the advised window and that my bedside drawer, which still had loose items in it, was placed on its back in the van which caused the items inside to be piled up in the back of the drawers.

Book case
This would have had a much higher rating but this company asked for an extra s40 after we had agreed on a quote for only $109. There was a confusion about the meaning of ground floor. The website input really needs to address this. What you actually need to know is - is it Street level and flat access or not? This was not clearly established. Hence the problem. We were charged extra for the confusion which we did not consider at all professional. Especially as a pensioner was paying. $40 was too much. Never blame your customer for confused communication.

Grumpy about me not filling the quote form out 100% correctly and reiterated this a number of times. I understand this is frustrating but tell me once and then help find a solution instead of continuing to repeat your dissatisfaction with your customer. You also cracked the frame to a mirror. You need to work on your customer service skills and empathy.I wouldn't recommend this business.

4+ bedroom house move
I did a mistake in my listing (forgetting the fridge and 1 table). I also didn't take into account (not listed) all the moving boxes we had (make sure to add them!) Still, they were super kind, and negotiated a second trip to move all our stuff with some extra. We were super glad to have them helping us moving our stock. The only downside was maybe stacking the boxes sometimes upside down, and we ended up with some mess internally (our fault not doing them carefully enough). They were careful with our fragile boxes, and on time! Thank you for the house move!!!
